Top Reality Shows Streaming Platforms

Okay so yeah, reality TV has me in a chokehold and I’m not even mad about it anymore. Like honestly I tell myself “just one episode” every single time and then boom it’s 1:30 in the morning, my eyes are dry, there’s popcorn stuck to my hoodie from when I spilled the bowl like an idiot, and I’m still watching these people make choices I would never make in a million years. It’s comforting though? Weirdly. My life feels boring and stable in comparison. Anyway here’s my super honest rundown of the top reality shows streaming platforms I’ve been glued to lately in 2026—some new seasons, some old favorites I keep circling back to because apparently I have no self-control.

That’s basically my setup most nights—cozy blanket, snacks everywhere, TV glowing. Don’t judge the crumbs.

Netflix Still Owns My Soul With Dating Chaos

Netflix is where I go when I want maximum emotional whiplash. Love Is Blind is still the king for me—I’ve rewatched seasons I’ve already seen because the pods drama never gets old. Proposing sight unseen? I could barely decide what to eat for dinner last night without spiraling, so watching these people commit is wild. I remember pausing one episode to call my best friend like “this is insane right?” and we ended up talking for an hour about our own dating fails. Oops.

  • Love Is Blind (newer seasons are still rolling out, total chaos)
  • The Mole (suspenseful af)
  • Some of the international ones if I’m feeling fancy

Here’s a couple shots from the pods that always get me hyped (or stressed).

Peacock Has Me Hooked on Betrayal and Boats

Peacock snuck up on me but now it’s probably my second-most opened app. The Traitors? Man that show is stressful in the best way. I’ve literally sat there with my mouth open during banishments. It’s like if Survivor and Among Us had a baby and fed it drama. Below Deck is my lighter watch—yacht fights and tip drama while I eat cereal straight from the box at 11 p.m. Real Housewives too, obviously. Pick a franchise, any franchise.

Hulu, Prime, and the Rest (Quick Hits)

Hulu’s got Love Island USA which is perfect dumb fun when my brain is fried. Top Reality Shows on Streaming Platforms Vanderpump Rules reruns still hit hard too. Prime Video I dip into for random competition stuff or when I want something less intense. I’ve definitely fallen asleep to baking shows more than once—oops.

What I’ve Actually Learned From All This Mess

I used to think these shows were pointless but nah—they remind me everyone’s just fumbling through life. Don’t @ me. The big lesson is probably: don’t take myself so seriously. And maybe don’t eat an entire family-size bag of popcorn in one sitting.
